When Gala and Alex inquired about their elopement photography, they mentioned they wanted a ceremony that was intimate, romantic, and deeply personal. With its historic charm, they couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Hycroft. One of my favourite things about this day, was seeing Hycroft in the fall with the colourful trees. I’m always there shooting weddings during the summer (which is still gorgeous!) but there was something about all of the vibrant colours that made their portraits stand out.
With just two close friends as witnesses, Gala and Alex exchanged their vows in a heartfelt ceremony, and incorporated some beautiful cultural traditions as well. I loved being a part of their elopement and would highly recommend couples to choose this as an option, because it allows for a more personal connection, flexibility, and authenticity. It’s also much more budget-friendly and a whole lot less stressful!
